Willow Roots, Inc. Seeks to improve the well-being and self-sufficiency of neighbors in need in the Pine Plains community by providing food, clothing, necessities, programs, and other resources.

Wilderstein Historic Site is a must-see destination for visitors to the Rhinebeck Area. It was the home of Margaret Suckley, a cousin and confidante of Franklin Roosevelt, and is widely regarded as the Hudson Valley’s most important example of Victorian architecture. In addition to tours and walking trails, special exhibits are featured periodically. A variety of activities and events are also scheduled at Wilderstein throughout the year.

The Southlands Foundation teaches horseback riding, horsemanship, and the love, understanding and skillful care of horses to adults and children. We offer horse stables, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, and horse show opportunities. In addition, our 200 acres are open to the public for miles of trails to ride or walk.

Omega is a nonprofit, donor-supported, educational organization at the forefront of holistic studies. Located on more than 250 acres in New York's beautiful Hudson Valley, Omega offers a wide variety of workshops, retreats, conferences, and professional trainings, in-person and online.

Hosting a wide variety of events throughout the year including the Dutchess County Fair, the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival, NYS Sheep & Wool Festival, car shows, antique shows, and juried craft and art fairs.

The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated, through its arts and education programs, to providing arts experiences for people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds.

We entertain and educate by preserving over 60 vintage aircrafts, many antique automobiles and motorcycles, and related memorabilia in a classic small town airport setting. Our static display Museum is open from May through October and we fly two different airshows each Saturday and Sunday, Mid-June through Mid-October.

As a center for diversity, culture, and civic life in a small town, The Stissing Center aims to support local economic revitalization and job creation in Pine Plains and the surrounding Hudson Valley region.

The Irondale schoolhouse dating back to the late 1850s was one of 14 original one room schools serving the town of North East. With its original purpose over, it seemed destined for eventual demolition until 2008 when a small group of local residents incorporated as the Friends of the Irondale Schoolhouse to Ssve the building from further deterioration, restore the building as nearly as possible to its former self, relocate the structure to the village center making it more accessible, and repurpose the building to function as a public information and visitor center.
